The Kansas City Regional Fox Trotting Horse Association (KCRFTHA) was established in 1971, originally as the Northwest Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Association.  The name was changed in 1987 to better reflect its membership.  The KCRFTHA has members in six states, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Minnesota, Illinois and Florida with the majority of its membership being from the greater Kansas City area.  The KCRFTHA is an affiliate of the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association.  Each year, the KCRFTHA hosts two shows.  Our Spring Show and Seminar is held in April.  It is an all foxtrotter show and features a seminar prior to the state of classes.  In August, the KCRFTHA hosts our Annual Show.  This is an all breed show.  The first KCRFTHA Annual Show was held in 1978.  The KCRFTHA also sponsors numerous trail rides (15 in 2008) and seminars throughout the year.  For more information on the KCRFTHA, please visit our website at www.mofoxtrot.com/kcrftha
