20+ years of training, showing, and raising horses of all breeds and disciplines.  Accepting horses from all backgrounds, correcting problems to starting colts from the ground up.  Natural horsemanship methods and good 'ole common sense is all I use to train horses, no chains, beatings, head tying, etc.  I only charge you for the days I work your horse, not a "flat fee" boarding situation.

I have over 20 years working with older horses and colts/fillies. Natural horsemanship. Western pleasure. Hazing...  for  bulldogging in rodeo. I train all the horses to act the same no matter if it's even a kid on it.  I charge by  month or a set price and when that horse is finished to your liking.

I take what now would be called a unique approach to training. I believe that the only ground work that a horse needs is to be taught to lead which should be down when a horse is still a foal. When I receive a horse in for training, it is saddled and mounted, (believe it or not, only about 1 in 60 horses ever go to bucking). Due to the fact I stay relaxed, the horse relaxes too. Therefore, it keeps the tension low key. I am a firm believer that a horse needs trained, not broke. I want a horse that wants to make the choice to ride for me

I will help you match your riding skills to your horse’s and vice versa; from there, you can do anything! All my lessons begin with showing you how to communicate with your horse, and recognize how he (or she) is communicating with you. If you're not communicating fully and clearly with your horse, then you're not completely enjoying your horse and your horse is not enjoying you.

I have been training western pleasure and huntseat horses for over 15 years. I am STRICTLY quarter type ONLY. I have given riding lessons to youth, and have taken kids to "the winning circle" at the APHA Missouri State Fair, and American Royal.

I DO however want to SLOWLY, start getting my name out in this promising new area. And will  take A VERY limited # of show horses in for the upcoming show season.
